Strawberry Birthday Cake | MN Food Photography

Monday, January 25th, 2010

My little sister made this yummy cake for my father’s 51st birthday.  Isn’t it beautiful?  She spent forever putting the layers together and decorating it.  Happy Birthday Dad!

Sweet Dreams | Twin Cities Portrait

Monday, December 28th, 2009

The busy photo season is winding down a bit now that cold weather has really set in and Christmas is over, so I’ve had a little extra time to work on personal photo projects.  This is a photo I took way back when the forest was actually green and no one was going to freeze to death by attempting to wear pajamas outside.  Emma with her gorgeous red hair and cute rose bud PJs was kind enough to pose for this dreamscape portrait.  This is the second image in my floating portrait series and you can see the first one here.

DaJhon | Twin Cities Senior Portraits

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

Did a senior shoot with DaJhon in the Minneapolis warehouse district that was a lot of fun.  A little chilly, but we got some really great shots.  I love this red peeling paint background and DaJhon is just so wonderfully photogenic.

And we did a few friend shots with Chaz and DaJhon together.  Don’t they look so stylish?

Chaz | Twin Cities Senior Portraits

Friday, November 13th, 2009

A couple weeks ago I did a senior photo shoot with Chaz.  He was a lot of fun to work with.  He loves the Colorado Rockies, has his own signature style, and also has the most perfect skin!  I think there are a lot of girls out there that would kill for that kind of flawlessness :)

Scary Face | Twin Cities Halloween Portrait

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

I made my mom pose for this lovely portrait.  People are always covering themselves with blood for Halloween, but I find a horrible skin condition to be much creepier :)

She was a great sport about this; We covered her face in Karo syrup and then added the cornflakes for the flaking effect.
